BEGUIGO does not treat continued browsing as consent to optional cookies. Use Cookie Preferences to make an affirmative choice.
1. About this Cookies Policy
This Cookies Policy explains how BEGUIGO uses cookies and other storage or access technologies on its website and services. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
The technologies actually used can change as BEGUIGO develops. We review this policy and the cookie-preference controls when material technologies or purposes change.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your device. Similar technologies can include browser or web storage, tracking pixels, scripts, tags and other techniques that store information on, or access information from, your device.
Where these technologies process personal information, our Privacy Policy also applies.
3. Your choices
BEGUIGO provides a Cookie Preferences control. Essential technologies are enabled because they are required to provide requested functionality, security or to remember your privacy choices. Optional categories are disabled until you make an affirmative choice to enable them.
You may reject optional technologies and continue to use the core BEGUIGO service. You can reopen Cookie Preferences and change or withdraw an optional choice at any time. Withdrawal applies to future optional use; BEGUIGO also removes its known optional experiment-assignment cookie when Experiments is disabled. Functional referral attribution is not an optional category and remains limited to an eligible referral journey you actively requested.
4. Strictly necessary technologies
BEGUIGO, WordPress and WooCommerce may use technologies that are necessary for authentication, account and session security, fraud or fault prevention, shopping-cart and checkout operation, requested navigation or onboarding state, and recording your cookie choices.
Examples can include WordPress/WooCommerce authentication and session cookies, cart or checkout state, the BEGUIGO cookie-preference record and short-lived browser session state used to return you to the correct Challenge interface after an action. These technologies are not used as optional advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
5. Analytics
Where optional analytics technologies are configured, they may help BEGUIGO understand visits, navigation, feature usage, errors and performance. BEGUIGO treats optional analytics as requiring the relevant Cookie Preferences choice before the technology is enabled, unless a specific use is lawfully exempt from consent.
6. Experiments and A/B testing
BEGUIGO Experiments can use the first-party beguigo_vid cookie to maintain a privacy-conscious visitor identifier and consistent experiment assignment. This cookie is enabled only when you allow Experiments. Its configured lifetime is up to one year.
Experiments may test presentation, usability, messaging or feature experiences. Experiment assignment must not alter the deterministic rules used to determine a Challenge winner or intentionally give one participant an unfair competitive advantage.
7. Referrals
When you actively arrive through an eligible BEGUIGO referral link, BEGUIGO may set the first-party beguigo_referral cookie so that requested referral attribution can be maintained and any eligible referral reward can be administered. This functional attribution is limited to the BEGUIGO referral service, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and expires according to the configured campaign attribution period.
Referral processing may also create limited first-party security and attribution records, including a referral identifier and hashed anti-abuse signals, to operate and protect the requested referral service. If referral technology is ever used for advertising, cross-site tracking or another non-exempt purpose, BEGUIGO will request consent before that use. Further information about personal-data processing is provided in the Privacy Policy.
8. BEGUIGO Cookie Preferences record
The first-party beguigo_cookie_consent cookie records your current optional-category choices, the consent-policy version and the time of your choice. It is necessary to remember and respect your privacy preferences and is configured for up to 180 days before a fresh choice is requested.
9. Requested feature and browser-session state
Some BEGUIGO flows may use first-party state such as nan_onboarding_step or browser sessionStorage to remember a requested onboarding step or restore the interface after a Challenge action. These are used to deliver the requested workflow rather than for optional advertising. Session storage normally disappears when the relevant browser tab or session is closed.
10. Third-party technologies
WooCommerce, payment, security, hosting or other service providers may use technologies that are necessary to provide a service you request or protect the service. If BEGUIGO introduces non-essential third-party analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, they should not be activated before any consent required by law has been obtained.
A payment provider or other external service may also operate on its own website or domain under its own privacy and cookie information.
11. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking technologies that are strictly necessary may prevent login, cart, checkout or other requested BEGUIGO functionality from working correctly.
Browser controls do not replace the BEGUIGO Cookie Preferences control for optional technologies that BEGUIGO itself manages.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookies Policy when technologies, purposes, providers or legal requirements change. Where a change materially affects an optional consent choice, BEGUIGO may ask you to choose again.
For questions about cookies, privacy or your data-protection rights, contact BEGUIGO Support using the Contact page.
